Camping Pictures

So I obviously am a blog retard. I couldn't figure out how to get these picture on my pioneer blog and so three tries later their finally here. This little guy absolutely loves the wheeler. He was playing on it while we were preparing dinner
The sunset right before it was completely dark

This little guy never made it a mile on the wheeler
before falling asleep. He was so funny about them.

Pioneer Day Here We Come!!!

Just a heads up it's a long one.

Pioneer day in Utah is a great excuse to get the day off of work and just getaway. My sweetheart was able to finally have a weekend off and so we packed up the truck, grabbed the dog, and little guy, along with Aunt Jo and Uncle Ryan and headed for the mountains. What a great adventure.
We started off on Friday morning and thanks to my sweetheart we camped in probably the best camping spot here in the Northern part of the state. It was incredible. We were very secluded with no other campers to disturb us, along with miles and miles of 4wheeler trails. Way to go babe!!

Then on Saturday we headed for the famous Bear Lake. My sweety absolutely dispises the water but packed up and headed over the mountain for the day. We had so much fun!!! We tried to teach Diesel how to swim and he had no freaken clue what to do it was hilarious. He actually tried to jump up on me to save himself from drowning poor dog.

Little buggaboo was in heaven between the water and the sand, he also had a surprise visit from Grandma and Grandpa which just totally made his day. It was just fun all around.

Our vacation came to a short pause on the way back up to the campsite......Jed's truck had the water pump go out in it. Thanks to an amazing couple in Idaho, we were able to get back to our campsite( which I might add was 15 miles of offroad terrain and was completely out of their way) while Jed headed home in a tow truck.... 5hours later he finally pulled up to the campsite with two yeah thats right two flat tires in his dad's borrowed truck.

While Jed was gone we had a little adventure with a chipmunk and Diesel. By the time we got back from the lake a little family of chipmunks had climbed into our wood pile. Well Buggaboo discovered it and brought it to diesels attention which brought out the hunter in him and he just had to have it. Well he's definately a city dog and had no clue how so I helped him along and the little thing decided that my leg was a safe haven, the thing actually climbed up my leg and was to my knee before I realized what was going on. I had pants on and it somehow climbed in them. I thought I was a woodsy kind of gal but as soon as I felt the little bugger on me I freaked out like any girl would and ran around throwing my leg all over the place until he was off!

We made the best of the situation and Jed and Ryan headed back down the mountain again for new tires. Needless to say our weekend turned into quite the adventure but we are all home safe and happy. Poorer than the average camping weekend but happy!!

Here are a few fun pictures of the weekend.

July Holidays are the Best!!!!
We have had such a fun year this year with fireworks, beaches, demolition derby' s and all the other fun adventures that the summer allows.
This past weekend we took a huge chance and tested Brock out on a boat. He was a little skeptical at first but absolutely loved it. He is in love with the water all around this year and so we thought it was time to stretch our luck. That same night we took him to a Demolitian Derby that goes on here in Cache Valley. Knowing our little guy and trucks we thought it would be a great Saturday adventure and it was a big success with him. He was in Heaven all around. He's been talking about it now for the past few days and he'll say, "trucks boom boom," then he'll add a hand motion showing the smoke going up in the air from the impact of the vehicles. He's so blasted cute. It's been so fun having the little guy around. He recognizes things so well. We went to the swimming pool here in the Valley and he saw a car just like daddy's and he got all excited thinking daddy was there too and he said "Dada!" and wanted to go over and see his daddy in the car.
We sure love the fun holiday season. Brock has just loved the fireworks this year and thinks thier so cool!!! When he wants to see them he'll go boom boom!
