Pioneer Day Here We Come!!!
Just a heads up it's a long one.
Pioneer day in Utah is a great excuse to get the day off of work and just getaway. My sweetheart was able to finally have a weekend off and so we packed up the truck, grabbed the dog, and little guy, along with Aunt Jo and Uncle Ryan and headed for the mountains. What a great adventure.
We started off on Friday morning and thanks to my sweetheart we camped in probably the best camping spot here in the Northern part of the state. It was incredible. We were very secluded with no other campers to disturb us, along with miles and miles of 4wheeler trails. Way to go babe!!

Then on Saturday we headed for the famous Bear Lake. My sweety absolutely dispises the water but packed up and headed over the mountain for the day. We had so much fun!!! We tried to teach Diesel how to swim and he had no freaken clue what to do it was hilarious. He actually tried to jump up on me to save himself from drowning poor dog.
Little buggaboo was in heaven between the water and the sand, he also had a surprise visit from Grandma and Grandpa which just totally made his day. It was just fun all around.
Our vacation came to a short pause on the way back up to the campsite......Jed's truck had the water pump go out in it. Thanks to an amazing couple in Idaho, we were able to get back to our campsite( which I might add was 15 miles of offroad terrain and was completely out of their way) while Jed headed home in a tow truck.... 5hours later he finally pulled up to the campsite with two yeah thats right two flat tires in his dad's borrowed truck.
While Jed was gone we had a little adventure with a chipmunk and Diesel. By the time we got back from the lake a little family of chipmunks had climbed into our wood pile. Well Buggaboo discovered it and brought it to diesels attention which brought out the hunter in him and he just had to have it. Well he's definately a city dog and had no clue how so I helped him along and the little thing decided that my leg was a safe haven, the thing actually climbed up my leg and was to my knee before I realized what was going on. I had pants on and it somehow climbed in them. I thought I was a woodsy kind of gal but as soon as I felt the little bugger on me I freaked out like any girl would and ran around throwing my leg all over the place until he was off!
We made the best of the situation and Jed and Ryan headed back down the mountain again for new tires. Needless to say our weekend turned into quite the adventure but we are all home safe and happy. Poorer than the average camping weekend but happy!!
Here are a few fun pictures of the weekend.

July Holidays are the Best!!!!
We have had such a fun year this year with fireworks, beaches, demolition derby' s and all the other fun adventures that the summer allows.
This past weekend we took a huge chance and tested Brock out on a boat. He was a little skeptical at first but absolutely loved it. He is in love with the water all around this year and so we thought it was time to stretch our luck. That same night we took him to a Demolitian Derby that goes on here in Cache Valley. Knowing our little guy and trucks we thought it would be a great Saturday adventure and it was a big success with him. He was in Heaven all around. He's been talking about it now for the past few days and he'll say, "trucks boom boom," then he'll add a hand motion showing the smoke going up in the air from the impact of the vehicles. He's so blasted cute. It's been so fun having the little guy around. He recognizes things so well. We went to the swimming pool here in the Valley and he saw a car just like daddy's and he got all excited thinking daddy was there too and he said "Dada!" and wanted to go over and see his daddy in the car.
We sure love the fun holiday season. Brock has just loved the fireworks this year and thinks thier so cool!!! When he wants to see them he'll go boom boom!

Our Home Away From Home!!!!!
Poor little thing, didn't get to eat food for three days so we gave him his favorite spaghetti and as you can see he enjoyed it greatly!!!

This was a couple days before going home. He was being more and more like himself. He absolutely loves his blankies!!
The little Mister had to have another surgery on the 13th of May!! We were down at Primary's for a week. Ironically they decided to send the poor little mister home with a fever and throwing up which in turn made us end up going back down. He ended up having an infection caused by the surgery and he was completely down and out for another week. The poor little thing never lays around and watches T.V. but this is all he did. Thank goodness for Animal Planet, and an incredible family that stood by us and was there through the whole thing.
My Mother in law is a Godsend!! This year so wanted all the girls to get together for Women's Conference down in Provo at the end of April first of May and it was amazing!! I was strengthened and rejuvanated. I learned so much about marriage and family it was amazing!! Thank you Jane!!!
On the second day we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point. Buggaboo loved it and he absolutely loved being with Grandma and Aunt Jonie for two straight days.

arms like it was time for prayer. In the background I hear, "That boys got
to much church in him!" Hah hah babe!!! We're trying to teach him how to pray.
of the baby chicks and ducks but he was in heaven with the horses, cows, and pigs. As you can see he climbed right in with no mommy or daddy!! Way to go big guy!!!
pictures but as soon as you ask him to smile he pulls hilarious faces like this one.
He's getting ready to do his first ever Easter Egg Hunt!!!
Easter 2009
Easter was a blast this year as you can see from the pictures. Our Buggaboo is just a joy to have around. We took him to Baby Animal Days and ended up running into the cousins there. He loved the pony ride the most. We thought for sure he was gonna freak out cause he had to have a helmet on and everything, but he was such a big boy he got right up on the pony and absolutely loved it. He cryed when we tried to get him off. Funny boy!! Easter Egg Hunts weren't quite as fun.....he thought it was somewhat boring and just wanted to play with all the other kids.

Officially 2!!!
Well our little guy is officially two! He had a blast on his birthday. We bought him some helium balloons and had a truck cake and this was heaven for him. He is still under the weather because of his disease, he had to have yet another round of botox on this past tuesday. We went down for a check-up cause he's still struggling and they put him on the schedule for surgery. This is becoming crazy!! Two surgeries in two weeks time poor little guy!!
Well Happy Birthday Buggaboo! Momma and Daddy love you bunches and we're so lucky to have such a fun character in our little family!!!
